Dr. Seth Barber
Dr. Seth is a native of Wallburg, NC, and has been in the Triad Area for a majority of his life and looks forward to giving back to the community that means so much to him. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Winston-Salem State University, and has remained in the area after his graduation. He has taken a particular interest in Orthopedic care, including earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science at Catawba College in Salisbury, NC. He has continued his specialist education with a two year clinical residency in orthopedics, and Board Certification in Orthopedics, July 2020 a distinction held by less than 5% of all Physical Therapists. He has been involved with low back pain research that is inclusive of data collection, treatment of multiple diagnosis of low back pain, chronic pain, and nerve irritation. He has worked in multiple settings including Acute care, Skilled nursing facilities, Inpatient rehab, but his passion is for outpatient orthopedics. He loves working as a Physical Therapist because of the focus on patient-centered treatment and the great patient population in his community.
